BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
David Allen’s background includes experience in general private practice, plaintiff and defendant, insurance defense and criminal defense. As a trial attorney, he have taken approximately sixty five jury trials to verdict, civil and criminal. He graduated from California Western School of Law in 1976 where he won the Bancroft Whitney Trial Practice Award. As a Naval Officer during the Vietnam War, he served as a main propulsion division officer aboard the USS Constellation CVA 64. He graduated from Rhodes College in Tennessee where earned six varsity letters in football and track and was was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. His professional education after law school includes the Advanced Trial Practice Class at Hastings Law School in San Francisco; the San Diego Inns of Court; and the American Association of Trial Lawyers Trial Practice Courses. He and his wife Claudia Kellogg Allen have four children.
